The illustrations in I LEGO N.Y. look so simple and yet are so funny. With just a few LEGO pieces Christoph Niemann is able to capture a quick snapshot of life in New York City. Along with images previously seen on The New York Times blog, the new I LEGO N.Y. book (published by Abrams Image) includes an additional 13 LEGO creations. The board book format is reminiscent of a child's book and adds to the fun.

"...Designer and illustrator Christoph Niemann was inspired to create a series of miniature New York vignettes out of his sons' toys after a few cold and dark winter days in Berlin..." —via Abrams Image

note: Kristina Weinhold photographed the LEGO creations seen in the book.
