I was thrilled to get a copy of the This is My Book, This is Your Book book in the mail (designed by Thomas Ng). The small keepsake book honors the 10th anniversary of the Spoonbill & Sugartown book shop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Spoonbill & Sugartown is one of my favorite independent bookstores (love that they sell used books too). It is very nice to have their anniversary commemorated with such a lovely printed book.
It is also fun to spot fellow book cover designer David Ter-Avanesyan in one of the interior spreads as a bookstore customer.
There is little point for me to go too in-depth because Faceout Books made a beautiful post for Thomas Ng's cover and interior design for This is My Book, This is Your Book. They have an exclusive interview with the designer.

on February 04, 2010 “Thank you for this! On the right side is Mark Dye (holding the Ralph's book), he directed the photography in this book. Mark is the best. He's in Haiti right now. :)
