Chris Ware Animation on This American Life

Below are two animated video clips by Chris Ware for the television series This American Life:
(the first part of entry was posted March 20, 2007)  

I never thought I'd have the chance to see Chris Ware's illustrations brought to life on cable television. Chris Ware had a feature animation incorporated into the third episode of a television series This American Life. The new show, based on a popular radio program from Chicago, aired on Showtime on March 22, 2007 at 10:30pm ET/PT. I guess the choice of Chris Ware isn't too surprising as he previously designed packaging for cd boxed sets for the radio program. This is a good time to take advantage of the DVR.
UPDATE on May 8, 2008:  About a year later, Chris Ware is back animating for This American Life (which started its second Season on May 2, 2008). Thanks to Scott Beale over at Laughing Squid, below is an animation clip to air during the 6th episode of season 2, which airs on Showtime June 1, 2008.
