When I was in the bookstore today, I immediately needed to touch this cover. Not Just Cartoons: Nicktoons!, which was published October 29 (from Melcher Media), has a fun waterproof covering containing a green gel-like goo. Though the substance is transparent, it reminded me of the iconic green slime from the days of You Can’t Do That on Television. I'd like to this this was intentional. The design of the book was done by the Nickelodeon Brand Design group.

The book collects all 31 original cartoons from the Nickelodeon studio in one manageable book. Aside from the cover, the interior spreads are filled with behind-the-scenes commentary, storyboards, interviews and more.
