Here are a few covers by Chip Kidd for various comic projects. Something we can probably all agree on is that we often create the best when we have a close connection with the content of a project. I think Chip Kidd's work is a great example of this. He's a great designer, but I think his greatest work comes out through the things he is the most excited about (comics and superheroes). This is probably a mixture between excitement and having already done extensive research on the projects (or genera's) content. Let's all make sure we are doing some work about things we are really excited about, because that very well may be where we will get our best looking and thought out stuff (or let's just get excited about everything).
