No one else's work has been as inspiring to me recently as the work of the UK's (and Penguin's) David Pearson. What's immediately striking about his work is its stark, beautiful simplicity. My favorites are his Great Ideas and Great Loves series.
Scott Hansen is an amazingly talented designer, who also creates his own brand of electronic musicnoises. Much of what I see on this site looks good enough to eat. It also makes me wish my parents hadn't thrown out all their 8 tracks and earthtone furniture. Check it out.
