This motion graphic typography piece posted by user Jimmy073 on YouTube is a good example of typographic acting. The timing on most parts of this video are really wonderful. More on the process, here are some comments posted on YouTube: --- yaotlenemy666: you did this with adobe after effects? is it hard to do T_T tell mee? Jimmy073: Yes, AE. Technically it's not hard to do at all. Just a lot of planning and trial and error. --- Having used After Effects a little bit, I'd have to agree with him. He forgot to include "a lot of time and late nights" in there as well I think. Read more about it on unzipped.

Having always enjoyed the vinyl lettering at art exhibits, and I am repeatedly impressed by the close attention to detail that the exhibit designers take.
“Look at Your Interior” designs unique wall vinyl to allow people to liven up their own homes with color and style. You can choose from different color palettes to best match your environment, which adds a nice touch.
“The chosen colour and the vinyl you choose will create a new and wonderful atmosphere. If you decided to paint, pay special attention when putting the sticky tape in the installation of the vinyl. If the paint is still wet it could be damaged. However, our 24 colours offer is wide enough if you decide to keep your wall at its current colour.”

A new online store launched with some great finds from curated boutiques and hand-craft designers.
They carry fashion and accessories, paper products and posters (check out the ones by our friends at L2!), and some beautiful stuff to decorate your home.
Wonderfully designed and just in time for the holidays!
Oh, and be sure to hit "refresh" a few times on your browser to see some cool random products.

Ok, so I could only find this one neoprene chair, but I find the idea of futuristic looking flame resistant furniture interesting (outside of the whole wetsuit thing). This chair is especially great for those prone to falling asleep while smoking cigarettes (flickr).

“The Lander C-type is a low recline lounge chair coveredin a titanium coated neoprene suit. It’s inspirationcomes from a unlikely combination of natural and manmade forms fusing sharks with 1960’s sports cars.”
