The life of the designer in a one-person home-based studio can sometimes be lonely - except for the imaginary friends on design forums and social networking sites. I'm never lonely with the collection of always agreeable friends in my office space - and they often provide some inspiration when a creative blockage makes designing difficult. My collection of advertising characters took some time out of their busy days to pose for "official" photos and I've posted the images at the flickr link below. What is it with designers and collecting things anyway?
