Jud Kite of Killer Kite Productions does some of the best retro-inspired posters around, in my opinion. I am just always so surprised and impressed with his designs and I think he has a great eye for composition, and doesn't go too crazy or over the top with textures—he does it just right.

The photography style and composition convey such a sense of uneasiness. I love the font and spare use of color too.

LOVE. Love the typography, the photo layering, the colors. I am really on this poster kick lately, not sure where it coming from!

I just love the colors, the layering, everything. And I like the idea of posters to represent songs. I might even try my hand at it. Fun!

I just think this is a great use of a retro-inspired illustration style, and it really works for the brand.
