Description: I am the type of person who lives outside of the box - it isn't a choice.
Looking For: Friends, Networking
Interests: All things creative, avant-garde, design related, philosophy, and travel
Favorite TV Shows:Six Feet Under, The Wire, pretty much anything HBO
Favorite Music: I have a very eclectic taste in music. I like to listen to old school tunes on vinyl, but I also like to download music on my computer, so I’m versatile in the whole {media convergence} deal. But to at least give an idea range n’ all… The Beatles (also individual John Lennon stuff), Portishead, Neil Young, David Bowie, Tom Waits, Jeff Beck, Prince, Frank Zappa, Pet Shop Boys, Curtis Mayfield, Black Flag, Tricky, The Velvet Underground, The Roots, INXS, Public Enemy, Tori Amos, Primus, DJ Z Tripp, Nine Inch Nails, A Tribe called Quest, Ravi Shankar, Slayer, Nina Simone….and so on. So, there ya go… not all of them being my top favorites, but it helps with the whole mapping out + summarizing my taste in music.
Favorite Movies: The King, Reds, The Aristocrats, Happiness, One Flew Over the Coo-koo's Nest, Apocolypse Now, Fight Club, Snatch, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Paradise Lost, Full Metal Jacket, The Exorcist, Midnight Express, Requiem for a Dream, Pi, The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction (goes without saying), True Romance, House of Sand & Fog, Easy Rider, The Doors, Bad News Bears (the original), Wonderland, Boogie Nights, La Dolce Vita, Swept Away (the original old Italian version), The Secretary, Donny Darko, High Fidelity, Almost Famous, The Goonies, Harold & Maude, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, Where the Buffalo Roam, Deliverance, Gummo..... that's all I can think of for now
Favorite Books: Howard Zinn's A People's History of the United States, The Art of War, Be Here Now (Baba Ram Dass), Tao Te Ching (Lao Zhu), Steal This Book (Abbie Hoffman), Naked Lunch (William S. Burroughs), Photographs: Annie Leibovitz 1970-1990, The Bell Jar (Sylvia Plath), Howl (Allen Ginsberg), A Coney Island State of Mind (Lawrence Ferlinghetti), The Prince (Niccolo Machiavelli), Oedipus the King (Sophocles), & most works written by Ezra Pound, Tom Wolfe, Kurt Vonnegut, & The Great Doctor of Gonzo himself.
