Description: I'm a freelance Illustrator that mainly works in the music merchandising field. Unfortunately, that means i greatly assist in keeping places like Hot Topic in business. I can't complain... i shop there too on occasion. I do a lot of work for metal bands which means o draw a lot of skulls, but i've also whored merch for Ashlee Simpson, Cher, Paul McCartney and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
I also design gigposters and screenprint them myself at Crackhead Press World Headquarters
I used to design web pages for a living for about 6-7 years and then i realized that i wanted to try working for myself. that was almost 2 years ago.
Looking For: Friends, Networking
Interests: Music, ink, screenprinting, gigposters, web design
Favorite TV Shows:Simpsons, Lost (sigh), 30 Rock, the Office, most of the animated shows on adult swim and most things with cynical content
Favorite Music: You don't want me to start this list. Isis, Tool, Tomahawk, Fantomas, Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Man Man, Jay-Z, Common, Kaye West, Melvins, Mastodon, Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge, Nin, Marilyn Manson, Shipping News, blahblahblah. It goes from overly produced highly popular nonsense to smaller independent bands.
Favorite Movies: Vertigo, Brothers Quay, Dark Crystal, Swimming With Sharks, Secretary, Hellboy, Atomic Cafe, the Cell
Favorite Books: Mostly uncomfortable memoirs from people like David Sedaris, Chuck Klosterman, Henry Rollins and the running with scissors guy. Then there's the Dover Catalog and a ridiculous amount of artist and reference books. Does the Preacher comic count as a book?
